We also commenced works last year on the £450m gigafactory project in Sunderland on behalf of AESC UK.

This includes, but is not limited to, copy writing, event management, digital design and channel management.Stakeholder engagement is key to this role, you will be expected to hold a strong working relationship with key stakeholders including, Group Corporate Communications, the Communications and Marketing team in Construction and HR. Some external agency management may also be required.As our Internal Communications Executive, some of your key responsibilities will include: Leads on the creation of Construction’s internal communication and engagement campaigns, collaborating with key stakeholders, advising on the right mix of channels to maximise engagement and impact. Manages the development of the campaign strategy and plan and leads in the creation of engaging, well-crafted, and high quality written and creative content. Works with key stakeholders, maps out their strategic internal communications requirements and key messages and align them with Group messaging and processes. Works closely with Group Corporate Communications to ensure alignment, visibility and engagement in Group campaigns and shares/drives best-practice internal communications and engagement across the Wates Group. Support the Head of Communications and Marketing in the project management of both face to face and virtual events, as needed. Works with the Head of Communications and Marketing to manage the internal communications calendar, to ensure the internal communications and engagement campaigns are effectively planned.This role demands a high level of communication skills and creativity. This person will need a high level of familiarity with a range of communication channels and approaches including digital platforms and events.
