SES are currently looking for a Head of Health & Safety to join their Leadership team.ABOUT THE ROLEReporting to the Executive Managing Director, this role is to lead, direct, and support the Health and safety function across the SES Business Unit. The role acts as a strategic business partner, facilitating effective two-way communication with business boards and providing crucial Health and Safety insights during strategic business discussions.As the Head of Health & Safety, some of the key responsibilities will include: Analyse business Health and Safety data to develop integrated HSE strategies, lead root cause analysis investigations and change programmes across the Business Unit. Develop and deploy a communications plan for rapid information sharing and strategic support, including a suite of H&S metrics and performance targets. Provide motivation, development, and support to the H&S team, partnering with business boards to ensure alignment with objectives and strategies. Offer innovative H&S thought leadership, influence supply chain partners, and regularly engage in site visits to maintain current knowledge of H&S practices.We are for someone with extensive senior Health and Safety leadership experience in an industrial or construction environment. The ideal candidate will have a high-level knowledge of all relevant construction SHE legislation and hold qualifications such as a NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ level 4, and CMIOSH or equivalent. They must possess excellent report writing skills, a deep understanding of motivation and behavioural change, and the ability to influence at all levels within the business. Exceptional coaching skills, innovative thinking, and high resilience are also crucial for this role.Additionally, the candidate should be adept at leading and developing a team of H&S professionals, capable of analysing data, and presenting effectively to senior boards and forums. They should serve as a role model for business leadership and Health and Safety behaviours, demonstrating a commitment to fostering a safe and compliant work environment. M&E Regional Commercial Manager

SES are currently looking for a M&E Regional Commercial Manager to join their growing team in London.ABOUT THE ROLEReporting to the Regional Commercial Director, this role entails the commercial management of approximately £50 million of self-delivery of MEP services. The position holds total accountability for the commercial function within the region, including ensuring profitability, team management, appointing MEP subcontractors, and overseeing financial administration.As our M&E Regional Commercial Manager, some of your key responsibilities will include: Procurement and Compliance: Ensure MEP subcontractors and suppliers are procured on time, meet safety and quality standards, and comply with financial requirements; escalate issues as necessary. Financial Oversight: Complete and discuss monthly MEP Monthly Cost Reports with the Construction Commercial function; regularly consult with the MEP Regional Commercial Director, advising on recovery strategies as needed. Profit Monitoring: Agree on MEP project profit plans and stretch profit plans and monitor these throughout the procurement and construction processes; escalate concerns as appropriate. Team: Support, develop and grow the commercial team, in accordance with the company values. Input to trainee intake programmes through to the development of senior members of the team. Leadership and Liaison: Demonstrate leadership and uphold Wates values; ensure MEP commercial staff understand and follow the Code of Conduct; liaise with construction Regional Commercial Managers/Directors on all MEP commercial matters to maximise value.We are looking for someone who can lead the MEP commercial function within the region, maintaining strong relationships with the Construction Commercial function and being recognised as a respected MEP Commercial expert. The ideal candidate will possess excellent commercial acumen, strong financial skills, and a logical approach to decision-making and problem-solving. They will be committed to accurate and timely financial reporting, developing, and nurturing the MEP commercial team, and treating colleagues with respect.
