University of Oxford Life and Mind Building (LaMB)
This £155m project, Oxford’s largest building project ever, is due to open in 2024.
The research facility will house the departments of Zoology, Plant Sciences and Experimental Psychology and provide space for 800 students and 1,200 researchers.
The building will also be home to a new institute for antimicrobial research. Funding and delivery of the building will be undertaken in partnership with Legal & General.
Expertise all in-house
Our in-house experts can advise on everything from offsite manufacturing to low-energy design and zero-carbon projects. This means we can build the truly world-class facilities this sector demands – and deserves.
Another key challenge for the sector is knowing how to create sustainable, energy-conscious labs and research facilities. Typically, these buildings are power-hungry, and we can help you overcome these challenges with our experts in active design. We can also help you target BREAAM Excellent Certification.
