WE ARE PART OF THE TEAM ON SITE WITH ASTRAZENECA
Undertaking the Civils and Structures package on a new Sterile Production Plant.
Officially announced during a site visit by Prime Minister Boris Johnson, the facility is being built to support the product supply of Zoladex, a medicine primarily used for the treatment of cancer.
Wates began co-locating with the wider Project team in October 2019 as part of the Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) phase, with Construction commencing in May 2020.
The work package, which is scheduled to be complete in April 2022, consists of:
- CFA Piles
- Composite Cladding to all elevations
- Curtain Walling
- Drainage and Service Ducts
- Steel Frame
- Metal Decking and RC Slabs to Upper Decks
- RC Ground Floor Slabs
- RC Pile Caps and Ground Beams
- Standing Seam and Membrane Roof Coverings
- External Doors and Roller Shutter
