Multi Skilled Plasterer

WPS are looking for a skilled and reliable Multi‑Skilled Plasterer to join our Responsive Maintenance team, delivering high‑quality repairs and maintenance works to social housing properties across Barnsley and nearby areas. You will play a key role in achieving first‑time fixes, maintaining high workmanship standards, and providing excellent customer service to residents.Key Responsibilities Carry out plastering works including patch repairs and full‑wall replastering. Undertake additional multi‑trade tasks where required, such as minor joinery, tiling, or decorating (in line with responsive maintenance needs). Work efficiently to complete all tasks to a high standard and within agreed timescales. Use a PDA/handheld device to receive jobs and submit work details. Liaise with supervisors and schedulers where follow‑on work is required. Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with industry and company Health & Safety standards. Provide excellent service to residents, colleagues, and client representatives.Minimum Requirements NVQ Level 2 in Plastering (essential). Proven experience working within social housing or a similar maintenance environment. Full UK driving licence (company vehicle provided). Ability to deliver high‑quality workmanship across plastering and other associated trades.
