We focus on securing the best residential developments in the best locations.As a Senior Land Manager you will: Identify, investigate, appraise, negotiate and secure interest in land or property. Undertake and target land searches of medium/long term development opportunities which fall in line with Wates Developments’ strategy and strategic investment profile. Negotiate and secure land investments on competitive terms. Lead in preparation and presentation of land Governance matters with the Land Director. Maintain a good list of agent contacts, representing Wates Developments in a professional capacity to high standards at all times. Demonstrate a clear strategy for new opportunities evaluating return on investments. Provide a handover of land interests to the Wates Developments Project Team and act as a liaison on land matters/valuations in support of site and planning promotions as may arise and work with team members in creating a project strategy. Manage the sale of assets (once consented) or the development/sale of land into joint venture vehicles with Wates Developments’ partners.We are looking for a qualified and experienced Senior Land Manager with a very good knowledge of commercial negotiation, town and country planning matters and of contract law; as well as a very good understanding of marketing analysis and Pro-map.To be successful in the role you will be an active networker with effective communication skills and the ability to identify the right opportunities which will provide return on investment.
