Project Surveyors take the lead; working collaboratively with our customers and industry specialists with a firm focus on added value, compliance, commercial viability, and best practice.As our Senior Quantity Surveyor you will: Manage the project commercial team ensuring all Wates Main Contract obligations are met and process obligations are complete with particular reference to Procurement, Sub-contract orders, Managing Supply Chain, Measurements and Valuations, Contractual Notices and Valuing Change. Complete and submit Monthly Cost Reports, Procurement Strategy Updates and Internal/External Progress Reports alongside developing and implementing internal and external tender stage and delivery strategies. Regional Commercial Director

Wates Group have an opportunity for a Regional Commercial Director to join Smartspace, our fit out and refurbishment business.Reporting into the Commercial Director, the Regional Commercial Director will provide commercial leadership for the projects with our key clients, in the Public & Banking Sector and includes strategy, main and subcontract tender procurement, risk management, pre and post contract, margin improvement and people development.As our Regional Commercial Director, you will: Facilitate regular two-way discussions with commercial, operational teams and or development teams and update all on current strategic issues. Regularly meet clients, consultants and or external influences to enable understanding of medium / long term trends, dynamics and opportunities. Ensure that all projects have clear tender and delivery strategies published in a project business plan. Ensure all bids have a commercial strategy, including demonstration of relevant added value, and where appropriate co-ordinated with the Development Strategy. Identify significant opportunities for change to add value across the business and effectively manage the change process. Senior Digital Construction Manager

Join Our Team as a Senior Digital Construction ManagerAre you ready for an exciting opportunity to lead digital construction projects at Wates? We're seeking a talented individual to oversee the allocation and management of resources for the delivery of Digital Construction/BIM-related project deliverables. As the Senior Digital Construction Manager, you'll play a vital role in coordinating digital delivery across various disciplines and departments, while also managing budgets and programmes.About You: We're looking for an experienced Digital Construction Manager with a deep understanding of Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Information Management Standards such as ISO 19650. You should have a solid grasp of Digital Construction Technology, construction management processes, procurement forms, and contractual arrangements. A minimum Level 6 qualification in Digital Construction/BIM or equivalent experience is required.Key Responsibilities: Lead the production of Digital and BIM propositions, including documentation and BEP. Manage resources and sub-teams to ensure projects are delivered with quality, on time, and within budget. Oversee model and data validation activities like Clash Detection and COBie Validation. Manage Information Management functions to ensure consistent use of Common Data Environments (CDEs). Coordinate digital activities with other areas of the Digital Construction function. Produce Project Digital Performance Reports and monitor team performance. Engage with clients and project teams to define project digital scope, budget, and programme.
