Chelsea is a highly experienced lawyer who joined Wates in 2011 from CMS, having begun her career at Clifford Chance, and has over 20 years’ experience in the legal industry, negotiating and advising on complex transactions for a wide range of clients in the banking, corporate and built environment sectors.

Anna has led communications and marketing teams within the construction and engineering industry for more than 20 years.

Rosie Toogood has led supply chain, procurement and quality teams across a range of industries for more than 30 years.

Cressida joined Wates in January 2024 to lead the acceleration of the Group’s environmental and social value delivery.

As Managing Director for Major Projects, Eddie has overall responsibility for securing and constructing the larger, more complex projects that Wates deliver across the UK.

I am passionate about creating a network of cross-discipline connections across the industry focused on developing a collabotative approach to knowledge share to explore solutions to customers and sector challenges.

As Major Projects Pre-construction Director, Mike is responsible for work-winning across the Major Projects Division.

Jon is responsible for our Needspace business that manages a portfolio of flexible workspace centres across London and the South East.

Olivia works to ensure that the schemes we design and deliver support local communities and nature to thrive today and tomorrow.

Steff Battle is the Executive Managing Director of Wates Construction, having been appointed in late 2023. A Wates veteran, Steff joined the company in 1995 and spent his first 18 years in regional roles, including five years as Regional Director. He later led the pre-construction function for Wates Construction Group, including SES Engineering Services, for over six years.

Gavin has been DfE Framework Director since March 2019 having previously been DfE Framework Manager for four years.
