You’ll be trusted to lead with commercial excellence, ensuring compliance, viability, and the highest industry standards.Your Responsibilities Will Include: Leading Commercial Strategies: Take ownership of subcontract packages and work directly with the Commercial Lead to implement both internal and external tender strategies. Managing Project Cashflow: Maximise project cashflow through effective subcontract management. Supporting Project Procurement: Drive procurement strategies with a focus on tender inquiries, package reconciliations, and production of subcontract orders. Resident Liaison Officer

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Resident Liaison Officer to join our Property Services planned maintenance team at Wates in the Cambridge area. This position is a FIXED TERM CONTRACT for 12 MONTHS.As a Resident Liaison Officer (RLO), you will be the primary point of contact for residents on your projects. You will support the Project Manager by prioritizing residents' needs and addressing any concerns during site works. Your role will be vital in fostering a safe, secure, and positive living environment. You will work closely with site staff to minimize disruptions, ensuring clear and proactive communication and meticulous planning to build trust and deliver a seamless, customer-centric experience.Key Responsibilities: Attend regular meetings with client representatives and tenants to ensure the highest level of customer service. Adopt a consistent approach to customer care across the contract. Manage the Tenant’s Complaints procedures as a point of escalation. Maintain and update the on-site database to reflect ongoing works.We are looking for a candidate with experience as a Resident Liaison Officer, ideally from a social housing background, although this is not essential. This role is centered around customer service, so applicants with a strong background in this area are encouraged to apply.As the role is a mix of site and office work you will need to have a full clean driving license and be flexible with travel.Due to the nature of the position, a Basic Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS) will be required at the offer stage. Roofers Mate – BrixtonWates has an opportunity for a Roofers Mate to join our team within the Responsive Maintenance division. You will be based out of our Brixton location, supporting our social housing contract by assisting with reactive roofing maintenance for our residents.Key Responsibilities: Assist roofers with repair and renewal works on various roofing systems Carry and prepare materials, tools, and equipment for daily tasks Maintain a clean and safe working environment Support the team in ensuring work is completed efficiently and to a high standard Follow Health & Safety and safeguarding procedures at all timesRequirements: Previous experience in roofing is essential A willingness to learn and work as part of a team Good communication skills and a proactive attitude A full UK driving licence is desirable but not essentialThis role is ideal for someone with hands-on roofing experience looking to develop their skills further in a supportive environment.Given the nature of this position, you will need to undergo a Basic Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS) at offer stage.
