Skilled Fabric Technician

Location: Scotland Edinburgh/GlasgowJob Type: Full-Time, PermanentJob Overview:We are seeking a skilled and proactive Mobile Building Fabric Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of fabric maintenance, repair, and painting tasks across multiple client sites. This role is key to ensuring timely, cost-effective procurement and service delivery, while maintaining compliance and strong subcontractor relationships.Key Responsibilities Coordinate procurement for planned maintenance services. Manage supplier relationships and monitor subcontractor performance. Track purchase orders and ensure alignment with cost books and PPM planners. Ensure Avetta compliance and maintain green status with subcontractors. Support contract renewals and gather costs for smooth transitions. Maintain accurate records and manage the approved subcontractor list. Evaluate customer feedback and drive service improvements. Resolve supply chain issues and delays with vendors and internal teams. Manage the team inbox and ensure timely responses. Track and negotiate costs for additional services added to contracts. Review subcontractor lines and monitor spend in line with contract reviews. Generate reports on supply usage, vendor performance, and cost-saving initiatives. Manage subcontractor onboarding. Ensure 100% completion of eLearning requirements.What We’re Looking For Experience in supply chain management and subcontractor negotiations. Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain operations. Awareness of compliance, service level agreements, and contract management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Power BI. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
