Wates Commercial & Logistics is bringing forward an exciting new development in Chichester that will help boost the local economy through the creation of new job opportunities.
The site was successfully secured in 2023 through a combination of freehold purchase and a part land promotion agreement with the local landowner — reflecting Wates’ proactive and collaborative approach to strategic land acquisition.
As part of our commitment to community impact, we’re proud to be partnering with neighbouring Chichester Free School, gifting 4.5 acres of land to help expand their outdoor facilities. This contribution will support the school’s growth and enhance opportunities for its students as well as addressing highways issues on the road network..
Sustainability is at the heart of the scheme, with the development targeting BREEAM Excellent and incorporating a range of future-focused features including EV charging, solar panels, and rainwater harvesting — ensuring the site is both environmentally responsible and occupier-ready.
