In May 2023, we began a contract with Settle to carry out zero carbon retrofit improvements to 670 homes across North Hertfordshire.
The project is part of the £5m Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) Wave 2 works to improve properties to an EPC C rating. Our team will guide the Settle team through their retrofit journey whilst taking a fabric first approach to install double or triple glazed windows, internal or external wall insulation, and photovoltaic panels or air source heat pumps to suitable homes.
Our teams will work in partnership with Settle colleagues to contact and educate residents about the works being carried out and how they will benefit their properties.
