A three-year contract for the maintenance and servicing of all lifts for Tamworth Borough Council

Commencing in April 2017, the £300,000 per year contract includes lifts within high rise tower blocks, sheltered accommodation and stair lifts in individual properties.

The contract covers six tower blocks, with a total of 58 flats which are allocated to elderly residents, many of whom have additional access requirements such as mobility scooters. Resident access is crucial and so measures are in place to ensure lift breakdown cover is available around-the-clock.

The project is running alongside other contracts being delivered for Tamworth Borough Council including refurbishment work to six high rise blocks, responsive repairs and work to voids.
