Andy has over 40-years of experience in the built environment, the last 12-years with Wates leading on our national frameworks and central and local government relationships.
Andy ensures the latest government policy and procurement initiatives and the latest framework best practice is shared effectively across the group, for the benefit of all our major national and regional frameworks.
He is also a member of the industry forum which worked with the Cabinet Office on the development of the recently published Construction Playbook.
In his 40-years in the construction industry Andy has held major public sector facing roles in procurement, design management, bid management, and business development for both major construction and facilities management companies.
Andy has vast experience of the procurement, mobilisation and management of major frameworks in the justice, defence, education, health, science, and housing sectors. In recent times this includes leading on the bidding, winning and mobilisation of several Crown Commercial Services (CCS) construction frameworks and the Ministry of Justice (MOJ) Constructor Services Framework (CSF).
