Community Involvement

The programme also saw the completion of a community project, where the candidates painted the internal walls of the Lillington & Longmore Garden Residents Association Community Hall.

At the end of the programme the candidates received their BTEC Level 1 in Construction. Candidates also took part in mock interviews with Wates Construction, O’Neill & Brennan, Resourcing Group, Stonewest and Nene Valley Fire, to experience various interview scenarios and build their confidence.

I’d recommend the course to anyone. It was fantastic, and explained everything really well. If you didn’t get something the first time then they didn’t mind explaining it again, until we understood. It was a fantastic
experience. I’ve really enjoyed learning the practical side of Construction. Thank you very much."
