Before joining Wates, George was Head of Procurement at Laing O’Rourke, leading strategic supply chain partnerships and driving high‑impact improvements in value, resilience and performance. His earlier career also spans leadership positions in health and safety and major project delivery, giving him a uniquely well‑rounded perspective on operational success.
