Project Engineer (Mech bias)

SES Engineering Services are looking for a Project Engineer to join our North West team focussing on high profile, technically complex mechanical and electrical projects across multiple sectors. ABOUT THE ROLE Our Project Engineers are a valuable part of our business, the focus of this role will be to manage the technical correctness of project progression, supervising the supply and co-ordination of all technical information, including Health and Safety information. As our Project Engineer you will: Be responsible for the mechanical services installation on projects from design through to Smart Landings. Work with the BIM department to assist and produce fully coordinated installation drawings to a standard which allows clear direction for site installation or production of offsite manufacturing. Deliver a quality installation, in line with our client’s expectations, maximising the profitability by smart design and early selection, driving our cost whilst maintaining our standards. Work with the planner to have a clear sequence of works with defined durations and resource loaded that is agreed with our client. Develop and maintain professional working relationship with customers, our design team, supply chain and relevant stakeholders. Ensuring effective communication at all times and present issues concisely and persuasively. As our Senior Design Manager, you will: Review the current design of all projects and undertake detailed risk and opportunities appraisal to mitigating risk, enhance buildability and add value prior to construction phase In collaboration with the project team, Lead Designer and Consultant Team, produce and manage a realistic design programme and information required schedule, to satisfy design, procurement, and construction requirements. Work closely with the Commercial and Operations Teams to ensure all design deliverables are fully coordinated, buildable and within budget. Here at Wates we have an opportunity for a Plasterer to join our Living Space Responsive Team within the Milton Keynes area. Working within this existing team you will be working with one of our key clients undertaking all tasks to achieve first time fix and deliver a high standard of workmanship in a timely and productive manner always affording excellent customer service to the client. Our leading position within the maintenance sector has enabled the business to realise ambitious strategic growth.    Key Accountabilities will include: Having an understanding of, and the ability to work to industry-accepted Health and Safety standards Undertake patch and larger plastering works, decorating and associated or other minor maintenance tasks utilising your multi-trade experience Work alongside colleagues or contractors to complete complex orders Use PDA to receive instructions, and to feedback electronically details of works undertaken, or works to be undertaken Liaise with Supervisors/ schedulers in a timely manner when works are unable to be completed on a first visit, providing detailed information to allow works to be programmed in Provide excellent customer service to residents, client and colleagues We are looking for a professional Plasterer who has multi-trade experience gained from working in a similar industry and environment.
