Wates secures coveted position on NWCH Medium Value Framework | Wates

Wates Construction has been appointed to the North West Construction Hub (NWCH) Medium Value Construction Framework, adding to this year’s previous appointments to the NWCH High Value and the North Wales Construction Partnership Frameworks.

Wates now takes its place on all six lots of the NWCH’s Medium Value Framework for projects valued between £2m and £5m in Cumbria, Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Merseyside and Cheshire as well as projects valued between £5m and £10m across the North West*.

The appointment follows the announcement in January this year that Wates had secured places on two lots under the new generation NWCH High Value Framework, including Lot 1 (projects valued between £8m and £15m) and Lot 3 (projects valued at £35m and over).

The announcement marked the third successive appointment for Wates to the NWCH followings its position on the Medium and High Value Frameworks in 2010, and the Low, Medium and High Value Frameworks in 2014.

Wates was also appointed to North Wales Construction Partnership’s major £500m framework in May this year, which is designed to facilitate the construction of new schools and public sector projects across North Wales.

Since its establishment in 2009, the NWCH has delivered 372 projects for 103 clients, worth more than £1.9bn. Projects have been completed across Cumbria, Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Merseyside, and Cheshire through the framework.
