BAE Central Training Facility

Project overview

Ellesmere Port’s Sports and Leisure Village was a major project contributing to the regeneration of Ellesmere Port and key aims of Cheshire West and Chester Council. The site was chosen due to its good location and the ability to serve both the town and visitors, as well as its potential to develop into a sports village with the running track, synthetic football pitch, running track and green open spaces.

"This project shows our commitment to providing our residents with a state-of-the-art new sports and leisure village. At the heart of all of our work has been the need for this to become an integral community facility, fully inclusive and accessible to all and I am delighted."
