The win was for our Wates Innovation Network (WIN) and the dedicated WIN portal we launched to provide a marketplace of sustainable technology providers, who could help our customers as they work to improve the sustainability of their buildings.

Our Aspen Grove low-carbon development in Cardiff is a WhatHouse? Awards Silver Winner in the ‘Best Sustainable Development’ category for 2022.

2022: PWC Building Public Trust Award

We were proud in first year of nomination, to win the prestigious PWC Building Trust Award for Reporting in Private Business.

Alongside Cardiff Council, we are proud to have won the ‘Climate Crisis Initiative Residential’ award at the prestigious RESI Awards 2022. 

2022: Prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise

We have been honoured with a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the Sustainable Development category, for the third time. 

2021: Wates strikes gold again

We have retained our Gold Investors in People (IiP) accreditation following a rigorous assessment process. The award stands for the next three years, until 2024.

2021: National social value award

We received a prestigious award at the 2021 National Social Value Awards winning the ‘Private Sector Leadership’ category for leading the way in embedding social value into its business culture.

2021: Investors in People – GOLD AWARD

We were re-accredited for the Investors in People (IiP) Gold standard for the third consecutive time in what assessors have called a remarkable achievement.
