Andrew Stocks is Senior Site Manager for Wates Construction and our Heritage & Quality Champion.

He plays a key role in the refurbishment of one of Parliament’s key buildings, ensuring exceptional standards of craftsmanship and authenticity across all external heritage works. With over 10 years’ construction experience, Andrew combines technical precision with a deep respect for historic architecture. His responsibilities have included overseeing the reconstruction of a Grade I listed building’s ornate chimneys and the restoration of heritage embellishments, such as roof turrets and stone façades. He has also led the integration of traditional masonry techniques with modern construction methods to safeguard quality and longevity. Andrew is known for his collaborative leadership and meticulous attention to detail. His hands-on approach ensures that every element of our restoration reflects the building’s architectural legacy while meeting contemporary performance and safety standards.
