🚿 Plumber / Plumber & Drainage Engineer – Crawley (Responsive Maintenance)

WPS is looking for a skilled Plumber to join our Responsive Maintenance team in Crawley. If you also have Drainage Engineer experience, that’s a great bonus – but if you don’t, still apply!
This can be a split plumbing & drainage role, or purely plumbing, depending on your skills.
🔧 What You’ll Be Doing
- Carrying out plumbing repairs, maintenance, and renewal works in social housing properties.
- Supporting with drainage works if experienced (not essential).
- Advising your Supervisor when additional trades or support are needed.
- Working independently or alongside other operatives to complete jobs efficiently.
- Completing daily work sheets detailing tasks completed and materials used.
- Delivering high‑quality workmanship and completing work within set timeframes.
- Providing excellent customer service to residents and clients.
- Following all WPS Health & Safety and safeguarding standards.
✅ What You’ll Need
- A full UK driving licence 🚗
- NVQ L2 in plumbing or similar trade
- Proven plumbing experience (drainage experience is great but not required).
- Strong multi‑trade skills are an advantage.
- A high standard of workmanship and attention to detail.
- Great communication and problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines.
- A positive, customer‑focused approach.
- Commitment to maintaining safety, professionalism, and quality.
