🚿 Plumber / Plumber & Drainage Engineer – Crawley (Responsive Maintenance)

WPS is looking for a skilled Plumber to join our Responsive Maintenance team in Crawley. If you also have Drainage Engineer experience, that’s a great bonus – but if you don’t, still apply!

This can be a split plumbing & drainage role, or purely plumbing, depending on your skills.

🔧 What You’ll Be Doing

• Carrying out plumbing repairs, maintenance, and renewal works in social housing properties.
• Supporting with drainage works if experienced (not essential).
• Advising your Supervisor when additional trades or support are needed.
• Working independently or alongside other operatives to complete jobs efficiently.
• Completing daily work sheets detailing tasks completed and materials used.
• Delivering high‑quality workmanship and completing work within set timeframes.
• Providing excellent customer service to residents and clients.
• Following all WPS Health & Safety and safeguarding standards.

✅ What You’ll Need

• A full UK driving licence 🚗
• NVQ L2 in plumbing or similar trade
• Proven plumbing experience (drainage experience is great but not required).
• Strong multi‑trade skills are an advantage.
• A high standard of workmanship and attention to detail.
• Great communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines.
• A positive, customer‑focused approach.
• Commitment to maintaining safety, professionalism, and quality.
