Darren is a well-established bid professional and commercial expert and leads our work winning teams across the UK.
Having been with Wates for over 24 years, Darren is an excellent example of how Wates develops and nurtures future leaders. Darren began his career with Wates in 1996 as a trainee surveyor whilst on a sandwich year from university. He then climbed up through the commercial ranks, before making the move to the pre-construction side of the business in 2007.
Darren has led the successful bidding for a diverse range of projects, including new build, planned and reactive maintenance, energy, housing developments, retail and fit out.
