Freddie is a versatile and innovative Business Development Manager responsible for the leading the growth strategy for Wates Construction in Yorkshire and the North East.
A former professional musician who studied Management and Music at university, Freddie uses his industry knowledge, creative flair and strong communication skills to help clients build a robust project narrative and then support them from pre-construction through to delivery.
Born and raised in Yorkshire, Freddie started his career in the construction industry in 2008 as a Business Development Manager for RDF Building Services in Leeds before moving to ISG where he held the same role covering Yorkshire and the North East.
In 2015 Freddie joined Wates where his local expertise has played a critical part in helping Wates grow its presence across the Yorkshire and North East. This has seen him directly involved in a wide range of key projects including the Wellington Place and Kirkstall Forge developments in Leeds, Vita Newcastle and the National Horizons Centre in Darlington for Teesside University.
