Our Construction West business has secured three of the highest value construction lots on the new Procure Partnerships £1.2bn North West Contractor Framework, marking the company’s third consecutive appointment to the framework.

The new four year framework, running from April 2026 to March 2030, supports the delivery of construction, infrastructure and demolition projects for public sector clients across the North West. Wates Construction West, led by Wayne Flannery, was appointed to the lots in recognition of its strong track record and trusted delivery capability.

Wates’ appointment reflects a strong and clear commitment to delivering high quality projects, collaborative working and positive outcomes for public sector clients and the communities they serve. We look forward to working with the team and seeing the impact they will make across the North West throughout this framework term.”

Framework Director at Procure Partnerships Framework

The appointment builds on successful delivery through the framework, including projects for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service in Winsford and Knutsford, and Liverpool HART.

Managed on behalf of Wirral Council, the framework enables public sector organisations to procure projects ranging from £50,000 to over £100 million, offering flexible routes to market and value‑driven outcomes.
