Over 70% of the site will be dedicated to public open space, including plans for a foraging trail and micro allotments.

Horsham District Council has approved plans submitted by our Developments business for up to 45 new homes in Small Dole. Approval was granted locally through a unanimous decision.

The proposals from our Developments business recognise the importance of green space and respect the character of the local area. The scheme provides for over 70% of the site to be dedicated to public open space, along with micro allotments, a foraging trail and a circular walking route. The proposals also deliver a significant Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) of +24.89% for habitats and +10.62% for watercourses – for both people and nature.

All the homes will be net zero ready, with PV panels installed on all feasible roof spaces and EV charging points included as standard.

We are pleased to have worked collaboratively with stakeholders and Horsham District Council in receiving a positive outcome. We believe the proposals, which includes significant public open space, plans for micro allotments, play areas and net zero ready homes, reflect our purpose of reimaging places where people can thrive and will serve the needs of new, existing residents and the community as a whole.”
