Wates has picked up a prestigious industry award in recognition of its work on corporate social responsibility at Twycross Zoo.

Wates Construction, the contractor set to build the Axis Square scheme in Birmingham, has announced the appointment of Lisa Cunningham to Pre-Construction Manager for the Midlands.

Wates Construction has signed a £31.6m deal to build Regal (West Point) Ltds second residential building at The Bank development in Birmingham city centre.

Wates FM will now commence mobilisation of the £3m contract, which will include carrying out asset and condition surveys before commencing works.

Wates Construction has kick-started a regional growth strategy in the Midlands with the appointment of James Willis as Business Development Manager.
