Smartcool’s ECO3 is an energy efficiency retrofit product that can save up to 40% kWh energy used by the compressor in air conditioning, refrigeration and heat pump systems (HVAC-R).

The ECO3 achieves savings using intelligent cycle optimisation technology. The ECO3© and ESM© are Smartcool’s unique retrofit proprietary technologies that use intelligent compressor optimisation designed to reduce the energy consumption of compressors in air conditioning, refrigeration and heat pump systems by up to 30%. Air conditioning, refrigeration, and heat pump (HVAC-R) units waste a lot of energy through natural inefficiency. Their compressors consume about 70% of the total energy used by the system.
