“2020 was a difficult year for everyone for reasons we all understand, but we did make a profit.

That is a source of real satisfaction and real credit to the brilliant efforts of our teams out in the fields and to the way in which our customers and suppliers worked with us to keep our jobs going.

We want to bounce back as close as we can to where we were last year, and we think we can get pretty close. 2019’s profit was £36.2m.

That was the highest for almost a decade and we were very proud of it; we never quite got a moment to tell the world about it because the crisis got in the way.

We hope to get back towards that, we believe that’s possible based on the incredible achievements and performance of our team this year.”
