Charles (Charlie) Wates was appointed to the Wates Board in 2011.
He is a chartered surveyor with over 20 years’ experience in the commercial property sector and the founder and former Managing Director of Needspace, Wates’ managed workspace division. He currently serves as a member of the Remuneration and Sustainability committees and is Chair of the Next Generation Committee. Outside of the company, he is a member of the British Council of Offices and British Property Federation.
