Ross Wood is the Head of Sustainability for Wates Construction, where he leads the development and delivery of an industry-leading sustainability strategy across the construction business. Reporting to the Wates Construction Group Board, Ross is responsible for embedding environmental performance into core decision-making, aligning financial and sustainability goals to position Wates as a sector leader in responsible construction. With nearly 20 years of experience in the built environment, Ross brings deep expertise in ESG compliance, sustainability reporting frameworks, and strategic environmental planning. Under his leadership, Wates has committed to becoming a net zero carbon operator by 2045 and eliminating waste from operations by 2025.
