His leadership is grounded in a relentless focus on safety and wellbeing, highest standards of quality, programme certainty and commercial performance, alongside creating strong partnerships with customers and supply chain partners.

He is equally passionate about the culture of the industry and the people within it. A strong advocate for inclusion and diversity, Steff believes that meaningful allyship requires listening, learning, and using his platform to amplify underrepresented voices. Through his leadership, he is committed to creating an environment where people feel valued, respected and able to thrive, while ensuring Wates Construction delivers lasting value for the customers and communities it serves.
