Wates are seeking a talented Senior Bid Manager to join our Public Sector Team working on a number of our Frameworks. Frameworks that sit at the heart of our strategy and we currently sit on the majority of the key frameworks within the UK (MoJ, DfE, Pagabo, PPF to name a few).

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our Senior Bid Managers are a valuable part of our business, leading the way to provide leadership on tenders in accordance with the Wates Bid Strategy and governance.

AS OUR SENIOR BID MANAGER YOU WILL:

  • Take responsibility for leadership of project bid teams in accordance with Wates 4/4/4 strategy, in conjunction with bid managers, to ensure that preconstruction programme and outputs are met and a customer focussed approach is adopted.
  • Produce, own and implement individual project bid strategies and customer plans.
  • Take responsibility for engaging with functional leads and Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to agree bid teams; monitoring and adapting to suit specific tender requirements throughout the bid period.
  • Ensure that all members of the project bid team have a clear understanding of their role and required outputs
  • Ensure all bids are carried out and settled in accordance with Wates governance
