⚡ Electrician – Renewables (Liberty)
📍Swindon, Reading, Bath & Bournemouth
🏢 Energy Transition Team
Join our Liberty Energy Transition team and help make homes greener, safer and more efficient. You’ll carry out Solar PV, Fan and ASHP installations, deliver high‑quality electrical work, and provide an excellent customer experience from start to finish 🏡⚡.
🌟 What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be the friendly expert customers rely on — completing installations, diagnosing faults, carrying out safety checks and ensuring every job is safe, compliant and completed to a high standard.
🦺 Trusted & Accountable
You take pride in your work — managing tools, vehicles and records responsibly.
You’ll follow all H&S procedures including RAMS, asbestos reporting and DNO requirements, ensuring every installation is safe and compliant ⚠️🛠️.
💡 Innovative & Future‑Ready
You’ll plan materials, follow drawings and use your tablet to capture job details. No two days are the same — your ability to think ahead and problem‑solve helps us continually improve 🚀📘.
🤝 Helpfully Smart
Whether completing a full installation or resolving a fault, you’ll bring precision, organisation and reliability. You’re confident working independently or as part of a team, and you’re flexible with regional travel or occasional overtime 🚐🔍.
🎓 Qualifications You’ll Need
✔️ GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths & English
✔️ Recognised Electrical apprenticeship and/or full electrical qualifications
✔️ City & Guilds 2391‑52
✔️ 18th Edition I.E.E
✔️ MCS accreditation knowledge/experience
✔️ PAS 2030 familiarity (Desirable)
✔️ G98/G99 understanding
✔️ Solar PV Qualification (one of):
• C&G 2399 Solar PV
• LCL Level 3 Solar PV
• BPEC Solar PV Installer
✔️ ECS Gold Card
✔️ Full driving licence 🚘
