HR Business Partner – Midlands (WPS)

We’re looking for a credible, commercially minded HR Business Partner to support leaders across our WPS business in the Midlands. You’ll coach and challenge senior managers, drive people initiatives end‑to‑end, and ensure governance and consistency in a geographically dispersed environment — all while helping us build a high‑performance, inclusive culture.

What you’ll do 🔧


  • Lead the salary & bonus review cycle with Group Reward 💷
  • Coach leaders to develop, motivate and grow their teams 🤝
  • Ensure strong governance, compliance & people processes ✔️
  • Provide clear, timely MI to support planning and change 📊
  • Support and deliver change programmes aligned to our values 🔄
  • Build recruitment plans that balance internal mobility & D&I 🎯
  • Drive talent & succession activity across the business 🌱
  • Partner with L&D to build capability through targeted interventions 📚
  • Champion effective performance management 🧭
  • Resolve ER cases promptly and improve engagement across teams 💬

What you’ll bring 🌟


  • Strong HR partnering experience in a fast‑paced, dispersed environment
  • Solid knowledge of UK employment law ⚖️
  • Excellent coaching, influencing & communication skills
  • Commercially minded with strong problem‑solving ability
  • CIPD Level 5+ or equivalent qualification 🎓
  • Experience managing a small team (2–4) desirable 👥
