The Vacancy

We have a new opportunity for a Senior Information Coordinator to join our construction business, to provide support to a large construction project South of Cambridge. We are looking for an experienced Senior Information Coordinator with knowledge of contract documentation, environmental legislation and issues, risk management and life cycle cost; preferably gained within a similar environment

To be successful in this role you will have a keen eye for detail with exceptional organisational skills, the ability to work effectively in a team, strong organisation skills, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks at any given time. You will bring your document control expertise to an exciting construction project.

Key Accountabilities will include:


  • Maintain, issue and distribute controlled copies of information ensuring compliance with all aspects of the design management procedures
  • Implement and manage document control procedures to track, store, and distribute technical documents, drawings, and correspondence.
  • Utilize EDMS to manage, index, and secure documents, ensuring all documents meet compliance, quality, and project requirements.
  • Ensure only the latest, approved document versions are accessible to the project team to mitigate risks, managing the full lifecycle of documentation.
  • Monitor and optimize document workflows, including the review, approval, and submission process for project deliverables.
  • Generate status reports on documentation progress for management and conduct internal audits to ensure compliance.
  • Act as a focal point for all document-related queries, liaising with stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and clients.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior document controllers or project teams on document management best practices.
