The Vacancy
We are seeking an experienced Document Controller to join our team working within WPS Planned Works. This is an exciting opportunity to support a new social housing partner delivering Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) works.
You will play a key role in managing and maintaining accurate documentation across multiple projects, ensuring compliance and smooth delivery. The role will be primarily office-based, with occasional travel to sites as and when needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update project documentation in line with company standards and client requirements.
- Ensure all documents are correctly filed, version-controlled, and easily accessible.
- Liaise with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to manage document flow.
- Monitor compliance with document control procedures and resolve discrepancies.
- Support audits and reporting by providing accurate documentation records.
Requirements
- Previous experience in document control within construction, housing, or planned works environments.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in document management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Willingness to travel to sites when required.
