The Vacancy

WPS are looking for an experienced Site Manager to lead and oversee planned works projects within the social housing sector in Wolverhampton. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team delivering high-quality refurbishment and maintenance programmes that make a real difference to residents’ homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Supervise site teams and subcontractors, maintaining high standards of workmanship and compliance.
  • Coordinate with clients, residents, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Monitor progress, quality, and health & safety in line with company and regulatory standards.
  • Resolve issues promptly and maintain accurate site records and reporting.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager within social housing or planned works projects.
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills.
  • Knowledge of health & safety regulations and site compliance.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • SMSTS/SSSTS certification and a valid CSCS card.
  • Full UK driving licence.
