The Vacancy

WPS has an exciting opportunity for a qualified Plumber to join our Responsive Maintenance team. Based out of our Walton-on-Thames office, you’ll be working on a social housing contract, delivering reactive maintenance to our residents.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities:

  • ✅ Carry out plumbing repairs and renewals
  • 🔄 Complete minor maintenance tasks using your multi-trade skills
  • 🤝 Collaborate with colleagues and contractors on complex jobs
  • 📲 Use a PDA to receive and update job details
  • 📅 Communicate with schedulers when follow-up work is needed
  • 😊 Deliver excellent customer service to residents and clients

👷‍♂️ What You’ll Need:

  • NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing
  • 🚗 Full UK driving licence
  • 🔧 Plumbing experience in a similar environment
  • 💬 Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • ⏱️ Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
