The Vacancy

📍 Location: Southampton (Hampshire Blue Light)

WPS is seeking a proactive and experienced Senior Administrator to join our directly employed client support team on the Hampshire Blue Light contract in Southampton. This is a key service lead role focused on ensuring the successful delivery of planning and compliance activities aligned with contractual KPIs and SLAs.


🔍 Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and issuing of PPMs for both self-delivery and subcontractor teams.
  • Ensure quality assurance of task descriptions and alignment with site-specific assets and contractual deliverables.
  • Maintain and develop a 52-week planner to meet service obligations.
  • Oversee compliance documentation including RAMS, COSHH assessments, competency records, and environmental plans.
  • Support development of systems for non-conformance, risk management, and quotation tracking.
  • Lead a small team and manage daily deliverables, job status reviews, and contractor work instructions.
  • Communicate key outputs to internal teams and external stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in service desk or FM management, ideally with CAFM systems.
  • Strong operational and commercial understanding of service delivery.
  • Engineering background desirable or transferable experience in hard services.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to drive tasks through to completion.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and influencing skills.
