Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for delivering high-quality maintenance services? WPS is looking for a Contract Manager to oversee our Living Space South Maintenance division, managing a diverse portfolio including DTD, Voids, Planned and Disrepair workstreams with a turnover between £2m–£12m per annum.
🔧 What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of supervisors, engineers, planners, and administrators.
- Ensure profitable delivery of contracts while maintaining top-tier health & safety and service standards.
- Drive operational excellence through effective resource management, performance reporting, and client engagement.
- Collaborate with commercial and business development teams to identify growth opportunities.
- Champion SHEQ standards and foster a culture of continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
📈 Key Responsibilities
- Daily management of service operations and contract delivery.
- Financial oversight including operating and capital budgets.
- Staff onboarding, performance reviews, and leadership development.
- Client liaison, complaint resolution, and KPI achievement.
- Monthly reporting and contribution to strategic planning.
🎯 What We’re Looking For
- Qualifications: HNC (or equivalent) in Construction, SMSTS/IOSH.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years leading a successful unit in construction or social housing.
- Skills: Strong leadership, financial acumen, excellent communication, and project management.
- Knowledge: Housing maintenance legislation, KPI management, contract mobilisation, and SHEQ awareness.
