Are you highly organised, detail-oriented, and ready to make a difference in the housing sector? We’re looking for a Commercial Assistant to join our team in Streatham, supporting the delivery of repairs and void works across the Council’s housing stock.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a collaborative Commercial Team, helping to drive value, improve performance, and ensure compliance across a variety of projects.
🏢 Location: Office-based – Streatham
💰 Salary: Competitive
🔧 What You’ll Be Doing
- Accurately pricing repairs and void works using the NHF Schedule of Rates
- Supporting the Site Surveyor with daily commercial activities
- Invoicing completed Out-of-Scope works and tracking revenue
- Preparing monthly client applications and processing variations within 24 hours
- Coordinating subcontractor applications and ensuring JCT compliance
- Assisting with reports and documentation for internal and client meetings
- Contributing to process improvements and team development
🎯 What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience using the NHF Schedule of Rates
- Background in housing repairs, voids, or a similar environment
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Proactive, solution-focused mindset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
🌟 Bonus Skills (Desirable)
- Experience working with or for a local authority or housing provider
