The Vacancy
WPS are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to lead the delivery of our responsive repairs service within the social housing sector. This is a pivotal role, responsible for managing both the contract and the operational team, ensuring high-quality service delivery and compliance with performance targets.
🔍 Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day management of the responsive repairs contract.
- Lead and motivate a team of supervisors, operatives, and subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality standards, and contractual KPIs.
- Build strong relationships with clients, residents, and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation to ensure cost-effective delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation across the service.
✅ Requirements
- Current experience as a Contracts Manager in responsive repairs or a closely related field.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and subcontractors.
- Strong understanding of social housing and the challenges of delivering repairs services.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Commercial awareness and experience managing budgets and performance metrics.
