The Vacancy
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Repairs Supervisor to lead our responsive maintenance operations across social housing properties in Croydon. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in day-to-day repairs, voids, and planned maintenance.
🔍 Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of operatives delivering responsive repairs and void refurbishments.
- Ensure works are completed safely, on time, and to a high standard.
- Monitor productivity, quality, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Liaise with tenants, housing officers, and contractors to resolve issues and maintain satisfaction.
- Support scheduling, resource planning, and reporting.
✅ Requirements:
- SSSTS qualification (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) – essential.
- Experience in social housing repairs, including day-to-day maintenance and voids.
- Strong knowledge of trades including kitchens, bathrooms, electrics, and general building works.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
