WPS is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Estimator to join our team in Finsbury Park. This is a fantastic opportunity to kickstart your career in construction and estimating, working on high-impact projects that improve homes and communities across the UK.

About the Role

As a Trainee Estimator, you’ll support the Estimating team in preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for planned and responsive maintenance works. You’ll gain hands-on experience in:

  • Assisting with the preparation of tender submissions and cost plans
  • Reviewing drawings, specifications, and contract documents
  • Liaising with supply chain partners to obtain quotations
  • Supporting the team in pricing works and identifying risks and opportunities
  • Attending site visits and pre-tender meetings

What We’re Looking For

  • A keen interest in construction, property services, or quantity surveying
  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English; further education in construction or engineering is a plus
