The Vacancy

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Supervisor to lead our responsive maintenance team in the Coalville area. You will be responsible for managing operatives delivering day-to-day repairs across our social housing contracts, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise operatives to ensure timely and effective completion of responsive repairs.
  • Conduct pre- and post-inspections, ensuring works meet specification and quality standards.
  • Liaise with residents, client representatives, and internal teams to resolve issues and maintain service excellence.
  • Monitor health and safety compliance and ensure adherence to company policies.
  • Manage variations, material orders, and maintain accurate records.
  • Report regularly to the Contract Manager on progress, issues, and team performance.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Valid SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) certification.
  • Full UK driving licence – essential for site visits and operational mobility.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within responsive maintenance or a similar environment (ideally)
  • Strong knowledge of social housing repairs and relevant legislation.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
  • IT proficiency, including experience with job management systems.
