Infrastructure Engineer

The Vacancy

Wates Group are looking for an experienced 3rd line Infrastructure Engineer to join the Modern Workplace team. This is an all-rounder role where you will be supporting, implementing and maintaining a wide range of technologies. This role is primary project based with around 80% of your time being dedicated to project work and 20% being dedicated to reactive support. This role offers a huge opportunity for someone who is an experienced 3rd line Infrastructure engineer to work with cutting edge technologies in a large-scale environment.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

To be successful in the role you will already have experience and relevant qualifications in the same or a similar role which makes use of a similar technology stack. You should be able to demonstrate your knowledge of these areas as well as having a firm understanding of deployments, ongoing management and support of these technologies. You must also be able to work both independently and as part of a wider team as requirements dictate.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:

• Demonstrable experience in larger scale environments (1000+ Users).
• Enterprise Firewalling
• Cybersecurity
• Microsoft Azure
• Microsoft Intune
• MS PKI
• MS SQL
• Windows Server
• Identity & Authentication
• Powershell Scripting
