🌟 Assistant Design Manager – Greater London (Based in our London Office)

We’re excited to offer an opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Design Manager to join our WPS Planned Maintenance team. Based at our London office, you’ll play a key role in supporting the WPS business across a range of contracts, with a specific focus on Higher Risk Buildings (HRBs) and Net Zero Carbon (NZC) schemes.

🛠 What You’ll Be Doing:

You’ll work alongside our experienced Design Managers and Senior Design Managers to:

  • Support the production and management of design programmes and information schedules.
  • Guide project teams on design-related matters and resolve queries with the design team.
  • Coordinate feedback and ensure clarity and completeness in proposal documents.
  • Review design deliverables to ensure they’re cost-effective, coordinated, and buildable.
  • Champion quality, buildability, and innovation across our HRB and NZC projects.

  • A solid understanding of building methods, procurement, and risk management.
  • A basic knowledge of contracts, planning techniques, and lifecycle costing.
