The Vacancy

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Finance Manager to join our Wates Property Services (South Planned Maintenance) team based in Finsbury Park reporting to the Financial Controller. This role will provide business support and data analysis while working with senior stakeholders within the SPM Team and the wider business.

Key accountabilities will include:


  • Maintain commercially-focussed financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and analysis for the South Planned Maintenance business.
  • Support the commercial and operational functions with training and financial insight to assist with strategic and short-term decision-making.

We are looking for a CCAB qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA) with Post Qualification experience in industry. Excellent Excel skills are essential, knowledge of the COINs accounting system would be an advantage. The role will be based at Finsbury Park with regular travel to sites in the London area.

To be successful in this role you will be proactive, have a self-motivating mind-set with a desire for continuous improvement, with the ability to influence at all levels, and be a clear communicator for/ to the SPM team and to the wider business. Keen problem-solving skills and being resilient is essential.
