The Vacancy
We have an opportunity for a Key Account Director to join our Wates team within our Responsive Maintenance division to lead, develop and grow existing and new customer accounts. You will be required to always provide an effective and professional service, in accordance with the business unit sales plan, guiding principles and customer account plans.
Key Accountabilities will include:
- Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with potential, new and existing customer contacts.
- Set the strategy for the development of relationships with other members of the Wates team, with the client’s professional teams.
- The Key Account Director will constructively work with and support members of the Senior Leadership team to provide the best solution and service for the customers and will take collective responsibility for the decisions, delivery and outcome for their accounts.
- Provide up to date and accurate information on forecast Customer delivery plans (spend) and obtain early visibility and details for future workload.
- Ensuring the project / bid team fully understand the customer’s brief by establishing their key drivers on Scope, Programme and Cost.
- To ensure every account has an updated Customer Action Plan focussed on how to develop profitably and exceptional customer service.
- Prepare and present monthly account performance reports.
To be successful in this role you will have demonstrable customer centric skills, delivered growth of sales in long term relationships of scale in any industry and strong leadership/ sales development skills.
